Michael Polk Appointed as Interim CEO of Implus Corporation

DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 10, 2020 – Implus Corporation,
a renowned leader in the athletic, fitness, and outdoor accessories market, has
announced the appointment of Michael Polk as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
This leadership transition follows the departure of CEO Seth Richards and
President Todd Vore, who are leaving to pursue new opportunities. 

Michael Polk brings a wealth of experience to Implus, having previously served as President and CEO
of Newell Brands from 2011 to 2019. He also held various executive roles at
Unilever and Kraft and began his career at The Procter & Gamble Company. 

Michael Polk’s extensive background equips him with the skills necessary to lead Implus
into its next growth phase. 

Dave Bordeau, Chairman of the Implus Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Polk’s
leadership, highlighting his strategic expertise in the consumer products

Michael Polk is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Colgate-Palmolive Company and
Logitech International. His academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard
Business School and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
